Bethlehem to New Jerusalem
Rev. Ben Workentine
Hosted at St Mark (De Pere)
The life of Jesus and the early church is full of familiar stories and many new surprises. We'll read through them all and learn how to get the most out of every time we read the New Testament. The class will also connect the New Testament to its time and cover some of the controversies around it's writing and content. This class is a continuation of "Eden to Exile" but does not require attendance at that course.
Christian Mentoring (January 21 through February 18)
Nathan Jaschob
Hosted at Messiah (Bellevue)
Imagine two people sitting at a campfire, or over a cup of coffee, or working in the backyard together. What do you talk about? What does it take to get to better conversations than the one you just had about the weather? What if there's something to learn from a recent life event? Or preparation for an upcoming life event? When a relationship like that is built on trust, respect, and commitment, it is a powerful force for transformation and growth. Learn how to find that kind of relationship, how to invest in it, and how to get the most out of it in this class, "Christian Mentoring."
Please note: This class begins on January 21.
Core Christianity II
Dr. Brandon Steenbock
Hosted at St Mark (De Pere)
Core Christianity (Part 2) continues our study of the basic truths of the faith—going both simple and deep into what God tells us in His Word. In this set we’ll explore our relationship with God (sin, reconciliation, redemption); the right use of Law and Gospel; principles for interpreting Scripture; why creeds and confessions matter; and the heart of salvation in justification, faith, conversion, and election. Come to grow in clarity, confidence, and comfort in Christ.Ephesians for Women
Jenni SchubringHosted at Messiah (Bellevue)Paul’s letter to the Ephesians is rich with reminders of who we are in Christ and how that identity shapes the way we live. Join us as we explore what it means to be chosen, redeemed, and equipped to walk in love and unity. Together, we’ll uncover how God’s grace transforms every part of our lives—from our relationships to our daily purpose.
Table Talk (December 3 through January 14)
Taylor Sullivan
Hosted at Messiah (Bellevue)
Have you ever left church feeling connected to God but still distant from the people around you? Table Talk is a five-week journey to help our church rediscover the lost art of meaningful conversation — the kind that builds real community and reflects the heart of Christ. Through Scripture, story, and guided practice, you’ll learn how to listen with compassion, speak life, and create space where others feel seen and valued. Because before we can grow together in faith, we have to learn to talk again — and every conversation can become holy ground.
Unoffendable
Rev. Aaron Schultz
Hosted at St Mark (De Pere)
What if you could live with less anger, more peace, and greater joy? Based on Unoffendable by Brant Hansen, this class explores what it means to give up our “right” to be angry and instead embrace the freedom of forgiveness and grace. Together we’ll discuss practical ways to let go of offense, respond like Jesus, and cultivate a heart that reflects God’s love in everyday relationships. (Book purchase recommended)
